Overview
- Establishment: Dilla University originated as Dilla College of Teachers’ Education and Health Sciences (DCTEHS) in 1996. It became part of the newly established Debub University in 2001. In 2006, it was granted certification as an independent university by the Council of Ministers (Proclamation No. 129/1999).
- Growth: Initially starting with few students, Dilla University has expanded to host 12 departments and has gained a reputation for producing quality graduates, particularly in the teaching profession.
