About Bingham Academy
Bingham Academy (Amharic:ቢንግሃም አካዳሚ) was established in the late 1940s by one of the founders of SIM, Rowland Bingham. It began with just 14 students and has since expanded to approximately 330 students representing 30 nationalities. The school is strategically located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on a beautifully landscaped campus equipped with excellent academic and athletic facilities.
The academy is dedicated to providing quality Christian education, aiming to holistically develop students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. It seeks to partner with families from the missions, international, and Ethiopian communities to equip children with skills necessary for lifelong impact.
Bingham Academy boasts a teaching staff from over 13 different nationalities, all committed to the school's mission of teaching truth and equipping generations to change the world for God's glory.
Bingham Academy is positioned as a strategic ministry in Ethiopia, with a vision for impacting communities far beyond its immediate surroundings.
