About FIS

Flipper International School (FIS) is a privately-owned, Cambridge Accredited School recognized by the Ethiopian Ministry of Education as a "Foreign Investors’ School." Founded in 1998 by Mrs. Serkaddis Seifu and Mrs. Menna Selamu, the school was initially established to provide a nurturing environment for preschoolers in Addis Ababa. Over the years, FIS has gained a remarkable reputation and is now one of the most sought-after preschools and primary schools in the city. The school operates from five locations and offers international standard education up to Grade 12, enrolling both Ethiopian and foreign nationals. The branches include Meskel Flower EYRS, Beklobet EYRS, Beklobet Primary & Middle School, and Summit EYRS, along with Summit Primary, Middle, and High School.

Addmissions in FIS

Flipper International School follows a dual curriculum, integrating the Ethiopian National Curriculum with the Cambridge International Curriculum. In the Early Years, the school employs a Montessori-based "play and learn" educational philosophy.
