Amhara Bank S.C

Amhara Bank is one of Ethiopia's newest financial institutions, officially launched on June 18, 2022. Founded by over 138,000 subscribers/shareholders who contributed an initial paid-up capital of 4.8 billion ETB. Today, that capital has impressively increased to 6.5 billion ETB.

The bank commenced operations upon receiving its business license from the National Bank of Ethiopia. This was a pivotal moment, as it coincided with the opening of 72 fully operational branches across the country. Currently, Amhara Bank boasts over 300 branches throughout Ethiopia, expanding its reach and services to more customers.
