Ethiopian Grade 4 Old Curriculum Amharic Student Textbook
This book is part of the previous (old) curriculum Mother Tongue Curriculum, which aimed to develop children’s listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Amharic. It was based on studies of how children learn language and the main features of Amharic. The curriculum focused on teaching letter sounds, word and sentence reading, and providing regular reading, speaking, and writing practice to build fluency and accuracy. It also encouraged learning the meanings of new words and developing reading comprehension skills to understand and use Amharic effectively.
