What Subjects Are on the 2025 Grade 12 National Exam?
The national exam will assess students from both Natural Science and Social Science streams.
For Natural Science Stream:

Content Areas Covered in the 2025 Grade 12 Exam
The 2025 National Exam will evaluate content from Grades 9 through 12, covering all chapters included in the official student textbooks.

- Grades 10–12: All subjects will be examined based on the new national curriculum.
- Grade 9: Only common topics shared between the old and new curricula will be included in the exam to ensure fairness among all students.

- No external materials or outdated syllabi will influence the question preparation process.

Exam Format: Online and Paper-Based Administration
The 2018 E.C (2025/26 G.C) National Exam will be administered in two formats:
- Online (Digital Exam)
- Paper-Based Exam
While both methods will be used, the Ministry noted that most candidates will take the exam online.
